UCLA Football? Not so much...

I grew up on SEC football where it's practically a religion. Apparently, football is not that big at UCLA. Indicator #1, we got tickets about ten rows up from the field in the corner of an end zone for $20 the week of the game. You won’t get any ticket for $20 anytime for a U. of Florida Gator game, much less the week of the game. Indicator #2, the game is at 730pm and we get to the Rose Bowl to tail gate at 1pm. The gates aren’t even open yet! Tailgating starts at 6pm on Friday for Gator games. Indicator #3, the crowd just isn’t into the game. I’m wearing a freakin Florida hat and I’m the one trying to get the crowd into the game! I was trying harder than the UCLA cheerleaders holding the cards that say ‘noise’ ‘cheer’ etc. Oh well.
