Plastic Grocery Bags Suck!

I haven't used one in a few years because I've been using my cloth bags. This time though, I was buying some drinks to take to a party so I went ahead and used the plastic grocery bag. I forgot how crappy they where as it was about to tear with only 3 bottles in it. And of course, it stretched the handles which made them very thin which made them more painful to hold. Well, I ended up holding the bag from the bottle as I was afraid it'd tear and breaking a glass bottle would suck. Why do people still use these?
