Going to a track day around LA is a little unique in that there are a higher percentage of 'badass' cars compared to track days in other parts of the country. This past weekend, I got to instruct a couple beginners at Autoclub Speedway (formally Cal Speedway, also known as Fontana, or Fontucky) running with the organization Speed Ventures.
On this particular day, there were a pair of Ford GTs, a half dozen Corvette Z06s, a bunch of Porshce 911 Turbos and GT3s, a ton of Evos, an Ariel Atom, a Formula Atlantic race car (I think), couple Ferrari F430s, a sprinkling of BMWs, and two brand new (one only had 1000 miles) Nissan GTRs.
